Intro
I am a professor and pediatric hematologist/oncologist at the UT Health San Antonio Long School of Medicine. I hav interstes in my clincla specialty as well as global health. for the past 10 years I have been collborating with a group from UCSF and St Judes building and developing pediatric oncology infrastucutre in southeast Asia.
Personal Vision
My personal vision is to utilize my education and expereinces to impact future generations. Whether it be the development of my local insitution or expansion of my current work in the global arena, I hope to provide lasting longitudinal advancement.
Goals
Our group Southeast Asian Pediatric Hematology/Oncology (SEAPHO) has a stepwise plan to improve care in the current country we are working with, Vietnam. We have developed an edicational infrastucture that we hope in 2 years to be self sustatining providing a local talent pool from which to develop further research and educational collboratives.
