Intro
Hello, my name is Sam Giri. I was born in Nepal and raised in Wichita, KS. I'm a freshman at UTSA and part of the CAP program at UT Austin. I plan on majoring in Economics with a minor in Computer Science. I speak four languages. My hobbies include learning about technology, startups, business, finance, philosophy and politics. I also enjoy playing basketball and working out. I'm an aspiring Entrepreneur and Venture Capitalist.
Personal Vision
My personal vision is to start a successful business, whether it takes a year or 10.
Goals
In the immediate future, my primary focus is on acquiring as much knowledge as possible while simultaneously expanding my professional network.
Entrepreneurial Projects
I am currently employed at an AI startup that aims to revolutionize the traditional telephone system. We are hoping to replace the current system where robots prompt users to press 1 or 2 inorder to reroute calls to a human operator. Our innovative AI-powered phone system incorporates natural language understanding to facilitate more intuitive and seamless communication for businesses. Skills
My expertise is in operations, strategy, and management. However, I am now considering expanding my skill set to include technical proficiencies such as coding, Microsoft Office tools, Tableau, SQL, and more.
