My name is Alina Hinojosa and I am currently a freshman at UTSA majoring in Art. Although I attend school here, I am not from here. I am from the valley and more specifically, the city of Brownsville. I had lived there my entire life so the transition of moving from there to here was big for me. A big reason why practically all my family lives there is because a lot of them are originally from Mexico. Because of such, I can speak two languages which are English and Spanish.
