Intro

Hi, I'm from San Antonio, raised on the city's West Side, where I grew up surrounded by a large, tight-knit Hispanic family. They taught me about values like honesty, hard work, kindness, independence and resiliency. I've carried those values througout my life and career. I'm a lifelong learner with a degree in emergency management and currently studying cybersecurity, driven by a desire to be part of the solution to rising digital threats. I also love to travel because those experiences help me better understand people and that understanding makes me a better problem-solver and leader.

Personal Vision

My vision is to build a meaningful and rewarding career in cybersecurity. One where I contribute to protecing people, systems, and data in a way that supports the greater good. I'm passionate about using my skills to help organizations stay resilient and secure, whether that's through compliance, risk management, security operations, or another impactful area of the field. I want to grow into a role where I feel proud of the work I do every day, can support my aging parents financially, and continue giving back to my community.

Goals

My goal is to complete my bachelor's degree in cybersecurity by end of 2026. I'm committed to gaining hands-on experience, exploring different areas within the field where I can contribute most meaningfully. My next step is to grow my professional network by attending industry events and connecting with mentors. A strong network will help me learn, stay motivated, and open doors to opportunities. I'm also focused on staying current with industry trends and developing both technical and soft skills. I want to make a real impact by supporting my company's mission, my community, and my family.

Entrepreneurial Projects

I am currently working on buidling my network and knowledge in cybersecurity by attending conferences and industry association meetings and taking part in cybersecurity training and exercises.
