SATX Social Ride Presents Bike Fiesta: A Celebration of Cycling in the Heart of San Antonio

San Antonio, TX – On April 16, SATX Social Ride invites the community to the annual Bike Fiesta, taking place from 5 PM to 10 PM on the 200 block of Houston Street, known as the Paseo on Houston. 

This event celebrates cycling with an outdoor market, classic bike exhibit, bike decoration contest, and live music. Bike Fiesta is a collaboration between SATX Social Ride and partners Chingona Race Productions, Mural Ride Bike Tours, Last Chance Market, Sojourn Trading Co., Deuxsouth and others, highlighting San Antonio’s vibrant cycling scene.

This year, Bike Fiesta supports the Ghisallo Cycling initiative, which encourages lifelong riding through exploration and navigation. A special focus is on the Golden Rollers program, enhancing the lives of adults aged 50+ through cycling, promoting physical activity, and fostering social connections.

With the anticipated presence of city officials, Bike Fiesta underscores cycling’s role in community and urban vitality.
