The starting point for business planning is to conduct market research to evidence the need and commercial potential for your product or service. It’s crucial to understand your consumer base from the outset. Market research lets you reduce risks and attract your ideal customer!
Presenter Marylyn Harris - Founder and Executive Director of the country’s first Women Veterans Business Center (WVBC) - will share her strategies for launching and expanding successful veteran-owned businesses. Throughout her career, Ms. Harris has outreached to over 25,000 stakeholders and assisted hundreds of Veteran-Owned Businesses to start and grow.
In this session participants will:
- Learn how to identify and create a personal Business Support Network
- Learn how to use available resources to conduct primary and secondary market research on industries, products, services, and target customers
- Learn to leverage data and technology to evaluate business ideas
- Gain knowledge from business owners and content experts to guide the development of market research strategies
