Trauma Simulator
The Problem:
Military and civilian medics lack the ability to train on true simulations of trauma injuries. Manikins for medical training are limited to more superficial abdominal injuries and extremity injuries that require a tourniquet. A manikin that has blood and more realistic organs and internal systems (i.e. a beating heart, circulatory system) is needed to train medical staff to get patients stable after trauma.
