Intro
My name is Pamela Guzman Bonilla. I was born and raised from Glenwood Springs, Colorado. I come from two motherland countries El Salvador and Mexico. I am a first-generation college student at The University of Texas at San Antonio. I have three years of retail and customer service experience, having worked as a Beauty Consultant at Target and as a Starbucks Barista. I am an enthusiastic and compassionate student who welcomes new opportunities to expand my knowledge.
Personal Vision
As I am still exploring my career path, it is a little difficult to see where my career path will be in 5 years. What I envision for my career is breaking out of my shell and doing unusual things/actions that are not seen or thought of in my hometown. As a Hispanic student, I want to create something or work for a company that shares my values. When I consider a vision or an agenda, I envision security and stability. In my life, I want to travel to different countries and meet new people. I want to be happy and comfortable.
Personal Vision
* My goal is to network with people in my degree field so that I can learn more about what the role requires.
* My ambition is to complete any task/work with great enthusiasm and to always remember/acknowledge my cultural heritage.
* In this program, my goal is to find value in my skills and persona. I want to improve my communication skills so that I can present them to others without feeling guilty about "bragging about myself too much."
Entrepreneurial Projects
I am not currently working on any projects. My goal is to find a topic and/or occupation that inspires me to create something under my name. Growing up, I was always passionate about art and being creative. I want to find a company or individuals that can help me find a motivation and a way to use my artistic abilities for a business idea or project that will be successful in the long run.
