Intro
Hi everyone! I’m Karin and currently a junior at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), majoring in Computer Science with a concentration in Cyber Operations and a proud member of the Honors College. Driven by a curiosity for technology, I am focused on gaining hands-on experience and leaving a positive impact on the tech industry.
Personal Vision
I want to network with people from different professions to get support and improve my knowledge across fields. I also want to create a nonprofit organization to provide lessons on technology to minorities and underserved communities.
Goals
Since I majored in Cyber Security, in my junior year, I would like to intern at either some private companies or the government. Late, when I graduate, I want to work for several to understand more about this field so I can understand what the people need and build my company from that to fill the gap in the market.
Entrepreneurial Projects
I would love to start an organization that can support minorities and underserved people to help them pursue a career in tech and also try to increase the presence of minorities in this field.
