Intro
Hi! I'm Nataly Ibarra from San Antonio, TX. I'm a 19-year-old junior studying Business Management at UTSA with the goal of becoming a hospital CEO. I currently work as a Certified Medical Assistant, where I assist in a high-paced clinic and support patient care. I'm passionate about healthcare, leadership, and fitness, and I believe in showing up with discipline and purpose every day. I'm bilingual in Spanish and committed to both personal and professional growth, always looking for new ways to learn, lead, and make a difference.
Personal Vision
In 5 years, I see myself thriving in a leadership role while completing my Master’s in Healthcare Administration. In 4 years, I hope to be working in hospital operations, gaining hands-on experience and building a strong professional network. In 3 years, I plan to be in a full-time healthcare role where I can apply both my business and clinical background. In 2 years, I will begin my Master’s program. In 1 year, I will complete my Business Management degree at UTSA. The clearer I see my future, the easier it is to ask for guidance to build it.
Goals
My network plays a key role in helping me grow by offering guidance, mentorship, and real-world insight into healthcare leadership. In the short run, I’m working to complete my Business Management degree at UTSA while gaining more hands-on experience in clinical and operational settings. The next step is to continue learning from my mentor, the CEO of Methodist Texsan Hospital, and begin preparing strong applications for Master’s programs in Healthcare Administration. Their support helps me stay focused and aligned with my long-term vision.
Entrepreneurial Projects
My idea is to gain hands-on experience in biotech and lab operations to bridge the gap between science and healthcare management. I’m working as an intern with StemBioSys, where I’ll be involved in cell biology research and supporting lab operations. This opportunity will help me build technical skills while applying business knowledge in a lab setting. I'm focused on learning how innovation, research, and operational excellence come together to drive impact in the biomedical field.
Skills
I'm a Business Management student at UTSA with a strong foundation in healthcare operations and process improvement, supported by my Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. My experience includes clinical support, patient care coordination, and administrative tasks. Skilled in strategic planning, financial analysis, and customer service, I also bring expertise in branding, marketing, and professional networking. Fluent in Spanish, I excel in communication and leadership within diverse teams.
