Intro
My name is Nataly Ibarra, and I am a 20-year-old senior at UTSA pursuing a BBA in Business Management. I currently work as a Financial Specialist at University Health, where I build experience in healthcare finance and operations. As a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and member of ACHE, NALHE, and the NALHE La Mesa Emerging Leaders Program, I am passionate about improving healthcare systems through leadership, efficiency, and innovation.
Personal Vision
Over the next five years, I plan to continue growing in my role as a Financial Specialist at University Health while completing my BBA in Business Management at UTSA. After graduation, I plan to pursue my MHA at Trinity University to strengthen my knowledge in healthcare finance, operations, leadership, and strategy. I also want to stay involved in ACHE, NALHE, La Mesa, and Lean Six Sigma to build my network and leadership skills. My goal is to move into healthcare administration and prepare for future executive leadership in San Antonio.
Goals
My personal vision is to earn my MHA from Trinity University and grow into a strategic, compassionate healthcare leader. I hope to use Trinity’s strong leadership network and healthcare administration training to strengthen my skills in operations, finance, and patient-centered improvement. My goal is to lead healthcare systems that are more efficient, equitable, and accessible for the San Antonio community.
Entrepreneurial Projects
My current entrepreneurial projects focus on healthcare operations and process improvement. I am developing ideas around CliniFlow Consulting, a future consulting initiative aimed at helping clinics improve patient flow, staff training, referral tracking, bilingual patient engagement, and overall efficiency. I also continue building skills through healthcare finance, Lean Six Sigma, and leadership programs to prepare for future consulting work.
Skills
My skills include healthcare operations, patient communication, clinical workflow support, insurance verification, EHR documentation, healthcare finance support, process improvement, and community outreach. As a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, I bring strong problem-solving, organization, adaptability, and leadership skills. I also have experience with business operations, consulting projects, professional communication, teamwork, and supporting patient-centered healthcare systems through efficient and compassionate service.
