Presenter Joe Raycraft works for the U.S. Small Business Administration as Export Finance Manager for the New England Region and is part of SBA’s Office of International Trade.  Joe joined SBA in 2020 after more than 20 years working in commercial lending and international banking.    As Export Finance Manager, Joe works to promote SBA export loans through direct outreach to partner lender banks, to small business exporters and a variety of resource partners that support exporters.    Joe brings more than 25 years of private sector business experience, including international roles in the areas of manufacturing, commercial finance and banking.   His lending experience includes working at a commercial finance company and various commercial banks in the Hartford area.   Most recently, Joe worked at Liberty Bank where he supported small businesses, with a particular focus on family-owned manufacturing businesses.  Joe earned his bachelor’s in Finance from Babson College, a master’s in International Affairs from Ohio University and he served as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic as a small business advisor.
